Fawn Hernandez
Race Director
Hello and welcome!
I started running ultra trail races in 2016 and haven’t looked back. I love the community, the growth that happens through the process, and being in beautiful Mother Nature.
Running has been such an important companion in my life carrying me through the loss of both of my parents and the many other ups and downs that came my way. My biggest running related accomplishment is setting the fastest known female time on the 223- Mile Ouachita Trail in 2021 with 12 close (and amazing) friends helping me along the way.
As a Race Director I value inclusivity, course safety, support, participant resiliency, and fun! Our experienced team will do our part to get you to the finish line and we can’t wait to see you accomplish your goal!
Sincerely,
Fawn

edie
Edie founded Paix Running Company in 2016 with her inaugural race being Red Dirt Ultra. She has been an ultra runner since 2010 and continues setting and knocking down running goals. She has been a mentor to me through many years and she was the first (and only at the time) female I met locally that had completed a 100 mile race. That sparked my interest and we became fast friends. It’s an honor to continue her race directing legacy with this race. She has other races so check them out HERE!
